SWUST Boasts 6 Additional Provincial First-Class Courses

SWUST proudly boasts the inclusion of 6 courses among the 220 provincial online courses for undergraduates in 2023 by the recent announcement of Sichuan Provincial Department of Education.

SWUST has always placed high importance on the construction of digital course resources, having initiated over 80 projects for online open courses and established 69 MOOCs (short for “Massive Open Online Courses”), 49 of which are available on the National Smart Education Platform. SWUST will strictly adhere to the requirements set by the Department of Education, focusing on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. SWUST will strengthen the construction and management of online open courses, and actively implement the national strategy for educational digitalization.

It is reported that the Department of Education will monitor the actual application, teaching effectiveness, and sharing of the approved courses through evaluations and regular inspections. Courses that fail to meet the requirements for open sharing or continuous development within five years from the announcement date will lose their qualification as provincial first-class undergraduate courses.
